Equine Sport Centre (also known as ESC), based in the Cape Winelands, Western Cape, is a premium horse riding facility dedicated to equestrian education and equine welfare. Located only 30 minutes from Cape Town and 15 minutes from Stellenbosch, ESC offers a prime location to enjoy time spent with horses and nature.
Equine Sport Centre offers a holistic approach to equine care. We provide a variety of services to our clients and the public. Our services include, but are not limited to trail rides to the public, horse riding lessons, and, livery and stabling to privately owned horses.
The trail rides are safe and will suit everyone’s budget. The yard also caters for those special occasions such as a sunset trail ride or a wine tasting trail ride to Simonsig Winery and back. Riding through the Stellenbosch vineyards makes this a very special experience.
ESC is a super-friendly yard that offer services to competitive and non-competitive riders, beginner riders and those with years of experience. We firmly believe that the horse and rider have a partnership, regardless of how short the time spent with a horse, and we try to instil this belief in everyone we work with. We want every experience at the yard to be special!
Mission
Equine Sport Centre’s mission is to provide equal opportunities for all riders of all equestrian disciplines at a single, affordable space. We focus on the correct schooling of the horse and supply excellent knowledge of and for both horse and rider as individual athletes to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
