My second trail ride at ESC was the beginning of a true love story. I arrived at ESC and while waiting to go on the ride, I saw this beautiful thoroughbred standing in a tacking bay waited to be saddled. I looked at him and he looked directly at me; ears up and head straight. There he was, Marcus Adamus, love at first sight!
There was a connection I still cannot explain and I just had to get to know this horse. So, for the last three years now I have been spending time with him every week on a Friday, and occasionally ride him on a trail ride.
No matter how bad my week or day is, whenever I spend time at ESC and with Marcus, I feel like I can take on the world again. He has taught me so much about myself, patience, consistency, unconditional love, inner calm and more.
I love visiting ESC. The serenity is indescribable. I am grateful to the ESC team, and especially Veronica Mouton, they are all amazing! I have learned so much, and for that I am forever thankful. I know I still have much to learn, but I am so eager. I love ESC, the management team, and all the horses!
