Riding Lessons

Horse Riding Lessons

ESC offers English riding lessons for ages 5 and up, ranging from beginner riders to more advanced.

Lessons

  • The riding school is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays
  • Lessons are between 09:00 and 16:00
  • Horses and ponies are well tempered and rider friendly.
  • Lessons are aimed at competitive and non-competitive riding


    Our lessons include:

  • Actual riding
  • Ground work
  • Grooming
  • Tack and stable management and maintenance


    Disciplines we provide include:

  • Dressage
  • Show jumping
  • Showing
  • Eventing


    Our riding instructors also believe in good sportsmanship and encourage our competitive riders to take part in practices competitions. ESC regularly competes at practice shows at other yards and try and host practice shows at our own yard at least twice a year. We also have riders competing at SANESA and graded level.

    30 Minute lesson once per week
    Individual lessons:
    R1 520.00* per month for a four-week month
    Group lessons:
    R1 200.00* per month for a four-week month

    45 Minute lesson once per week
    Individual lessons:
    R2 200.00* per month for a four-week month
    Group lessons:
    R1 520.00* per month for a four-week month

    Once off lessons
    R550.00* per 45 minute individual lesson - perfect for show preparation
    R380.00* per 45 minute group lesson
    R380.00* per 30 minute individual lesson
    R300.00* per 30 minute group lesson
